and Grace O'Mally. or Grainne ONeal. Whose ancestral home I visited on a dark and foreboding Irish day. A ruin seated among hills and dripping oak trees. Ruined all except the intricate carvings on the windowless windowsills, vines and strange fruits.
So there ye are mateys....three of the most feared and vilified women in history. Read up!

The gowns she wore was stained with gore all by a ruffian band. Her lips so sweet that monarchs kissed are now grown pale and wan. The tears of grief fell from her eyes each tear as large as hail. None could express the deep distress of poor old Granuaile.
