Number 9, number 9....the very late birthday edition.

So it's 5 months late.  I have been a teeny bit distracted....

This year the birthday boy again wanted costumes.  His friends all came dressed as their favourite literary character.  Mama was Hester Prynne and Dada was Chico Marx.  We might need some therapy to work that one out.  There were Moomins, and a mouse, Tin Tin x2.  Bilbo Baggins, Linc, Laura Ingalls, The 11th Doctor and many more.  Kids need more opportunities to costume up!

There were tiny books written by the birthday boy.  The story of two lizards in space and a fish called Mr. Nibbles.  Mr. Nibbles is a real fish.  He lives in Silver Lake.

The boy designed cake was green of course and featured the two lizards reading their recently published work of fiction.  Everything, including the pages is/was edible. Doodle did the writing on the cake pages, same words that are in the books.

There were Mr. Nibbles cookies, and bookworms( gummi ofcourse)  in the goodie bags.  Mayhem in the driveway, treehouse fun, cake and friends.  What more could a character like Doodle need?

Tin Tin 's bag by Auntie Jane. Made from a piece of vintage Tin Tin embroidery from France.  You can find anything on Etsy.
