Be like the Sea.

These beautiful words were written by the 13th Century Persian poet, Rumi. I can't think of any better sentiment for this years Winter Solstice. I hope that as the light returns to the Northern Hemisphere we can all agree to be more "like the sea".


In generosity and helping others be like a river,
In compassion and grace be like the sun,
In concealing others’ faults be like night,
In anger and fury be like the dead,

In modesty and humility be like the earth,

In tolerance be like the sea.
